DMI – Loyola Institue of Technology | Think Quest – 2017 | Part 2

Exuberating, motivating, enlightening and engaging would describe the Quiz Competition of various schools conducted by DMI College of Engineering, Palanchur Nazarethpet Post, Chennai, 600123. The competition was aimed at developing the knowledge and excellence base among the students through healthy and highly motivating meet. The students crammed themselves up with a lot of general knowledge for the quiz.
Though some of the questions were very tricky, the teams tried to answer them with confidence. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing, exciting and made the audience go ‘Aah!’ and clap when the teams answered correctly. The audience also got a chance to participate every time the teams answered incorrectly.
Every round was a mixed bag with questions from history, sports, books, languages, vocabulary and science. The final round, the Rapid-fire round gave the teams a chance to catch up with leaders and put-up a tough fight. The competition ensured that the teams minutely read every detail in the newspapers of the week gone by.
DMI College of Engineering conducted the THINK QUEST 2017, prize distribution, where the students were awarded with cash prizes and certificates and it was awarded by Mr. Parthiban Bhavanishankar, Campus Recruiter, Oracle and the Presidential address was given by Rev Sr.I.Arockia Mary, DMI Correspondent – DMICE, Later Dr. S.Muthu, Prinicipal, delivered his views on the college and students life at DMI, College of engineering, DMICE. After the prize distribution, the vote of thanks was given by Dr.Suresh Mohan kumar, Dean, DMICE. The Introduction of the Chief Guest was given by Mr. P.L.Joseph Raj, HOD/ S & H. Finally the event came to an end with the college anthem and National Anthem.
